Free YouTube Download Premium
A long running video grabber with a plain interface, batch queue and direct conversion into common playback formats on the way down.
About Free YouTube Download Premium
This is one of the oldest tools in its category still being updated, and the interface reflects that: a list, a paste button, a quality dropdown and a start button. Nothing is hidden behind a redesign, which is precisely why people who have used it for years keep using it. A link goes in the top, a file lands in the output folder, and there is nothing else to learn.
The Premium tier lifts the restrictions that make the free build tedious. Batch downloads run several items at once rather than one at a time, playlists and channels download whole rather than capped at a handful of items, and the advertising panels are removed from the interface entirely, which on a shared or classroom machine is reason enough on its own.
Conversion happens during the download rather than as a separate step afterwards. Output presets cover common playback formats and device profiles, so material intended for an older television, a tablet or an editing timeline arrives in a format that plays without another pass through a converter. Audio only extraction produces tagged files ready to drop into a library.
Practical handling covers the awkward parts. Downloads resume after a dropped connection, the queue survives a restart, an output template controls how files are named and foldered, and the tool reports clearly when a source offers nothing above a certain resolution rather than silently taking a lower one. Subtitles come down alongside the video when the source carries them.

Installation walkthrough
These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.
- Extract the archive and run the installer as administrator.
- Decline any bundled extras offered during setup.
- Set the output folder and naming template before the first download.
- Choose a default quality so the queue does not stop for each item.
- Restart the application once after installation so the queue database initialises.
