Installation walkthrough

These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.

1. Install the device manufacturer driver first so the handset is recognised over cable.
2. Extract the archive and run the installer as administrator.
3. Connect the phone by a data cable rather than a charge only one, which is the usual cause of a device not appearing.
4. Unlock the handset and accept the trust prompt on its screen when it appears.
5. Take a full backup before running any repair or unlock module.
