KMSAuto++ is the small single window version of what the larger tool collections spread across a dozen separate executables. It detects what is installed on the machine, reports the current state of both the operating system and the suite, and offers the appropriate action without asking anyone to work out which of six utilities is the right one for a given build.

The main screen is deliberately plain. One panel reports the detected products and their current state, one button handles the system, one handles the suite, and an information tab lists build numbers, edition names and channel details so the state of a machine can be read without opening a command prompt. Everything runs from the extracted folder, so nothing is written into the program files tree.

The scheduled task option is the piece most people turn on. Rather than repeating a manual pass every few weeks, the tool installs a small task that runs quietly on a timer and reapplies the same operation, which keeps a machine consistent through servicing updates and feature upgrades without anyone remembering to touch it.

There is also a set of supporting functions behind the tabs: a product key manager for reading, installing and removing keys, a channel switcher for moving an install between retail and volume, a cleanup pass that clears out stale configuration left by earlier attempts, and a log window that records every action taken so a failed run can actually be diagnosed rather than guessed at.

Installation walkthrough

These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.

1. Turn off real-time protection completely before extracting, since tools in this category are always flagged on heuristics.
2. Extract the whole folder rather than running the executable from inside the archive.
3. Run the executable as administrator, otherwise the system functions are greyed out.
4. Read the state panel first, then use the button that matches the detected product.
5. Reboot when the log reports completion, then reopen the tool to confirm the reported state.
