TypingMaster
A structured touch typing course with graded lessons, drills built from the keys a learner keeps missing, and a background analyser that watches real work.
About TypingMaster
Touch typing is one of the few skills where a structured course genuinely beats picking it up gradually, because the bad habits formed in the first weeks are what limit speed years later. The course here runs from home row position through the full alphabet, then punctuation, numbers, the numeric pad and finally sustained text at speed.
The part that separates it from a set of exercises is the adaptation. Every lesson records which keys were missed and how long each keystroke took, and the next drill is built weighted towards the specific letters and combinations that caused the trouble. A learner who keeps missing one particular reach spends their practice time on that reach rather than repeating what they already do well.
A background analyser watches typing during ordinary work with the learner's agreement, and reports on the errors made in real use rather than only inside the lessons. That closes the gap where somebody types cleanly during a drill and reverts to hunting the moment they are writing something they actually care about.
Progress is tracked as speed and accuracy over time, broken down per hand, per finger and per key, and the tests produce a certificate style summary at the end of a course. Typing games sit alongside the lessons for the sessions where a drill would be abandoned after two minutes, and multiple learner profiles keep separate histories on one machine.

Installation walkthrough
These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.
- Extract the archive to any folder and run setup as administrator.
- Choose the keyboard layout during setup, since it defines the whole course.
- Create a learner profile before starting the first lesson so progress is recorded.
- Enable the background analyser only if typing during ordinary work should be measured.
- Set a daily practice reminder if the course is meant to be finished rather than started.
