MyDockFinder
A desktop shell layer adding a magnifying dock, a top status bar and a quick preview key to the existing Windows interface.
About MyDockFinder
This sits on top of the standard desktop rather than replacing it. A dock lives along one edge with magnification on hover, running applications show an indicator, and pinned items reorder by dragging. The taskbar can be hidden entirely so the dock becomes the only launcher, or kept if the notification area is still wanted.
The status bar across the top is the second half of it. It carries the active application menu area, the clock, and a configurable set of indicators for network, volume, battery, processor load and memory pressure. Clicking an indicator opens a small panel rather than a full settings window, which makes checking something quick enough that it does not interrupt whatever is being done.
A quick preview key gives a large preview of any selected file straight from the desktop or a folder window, covering images, documents, video and audio without opening the application that owns them. On a machine used to sort through a lot of files that alone is worth the install.
Everything is configurable in a single control panel: dock size, magnification amount, position, autohide behaviour, animation speed, blur strength, accent colour and which indicators appear. It can be pared back to just a dock, or taken far enough that the underlying shell is barely visible.

Installation walkthrough
These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.
- Extract the archive to a permanent folder, since the application runs from where it is placed.
- Pause real-time protection during the first launch, as shell hooks are commonly flagged.
- Run the executable as administrator so it can register at startup.
- Choose whether to hide the standard taskbar in the control panel on first run.
- Set dock position, size and magnification before pinning applications to it.
