The protection side runs resident with real time file, web and behaviour monitoring, and the scanning engine updates its definitions on a schedule rather than only on demand. Installation walkthrough

These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.

1. Remove any other resident protection suite first, since two engines will conflict.
2. Extract the archive to a folder with a short path.
3. Run the installer as administrator and decline optional extras on the component screen.
4. Run a scan and read the report fully before allowing anything to be removed.
5. Reboot once so the resident components load correctly.
