The full toolset adds the specialised libraries: architectural elements, mechanical parts, electrical schematics, piping and plant components, plus the associated automation. Drawing a stair, a fastener or a control panel becomes a parametric insert rather than a manual construction.

Sheet sets, layouts and viewports handle documentation. A single model produces every sheet at the right scale with title blocks filled from sheet set fields, and plotting to PDF or paper carries lineweights and plot styles correctly. Installation walkthrough

These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.

1. Remove older AutoCAD releases if disk space is tight, though versions can coexist.
2. Disable real-time protection until the install has finished.
3. Extract the archive to a short path and run setup as administrator.
4. Select the interface language and the toolsets to install during setup.
5. Reboot once, then set the default profile and template on first launch.
