AOMEI Partition Assistant
Partition management that resizes, moves, merges and migrates volumes without wiping them, with a bootable environment included for work on the system drive.
About AOMEI Partition Assistant
Partition work is the sort of thing that is either uneventful or catastrophic, and the difference is usually the tool. This one queues changes rather than applying them immediately, shows the resulting layout before anything is written, and executes the whole queue as a single operation, so a mistake is caught while it is still a preview rather than after the volume is gone.
The core operations cover the situations that actually come up: resizing a system partition that has run out of room, moving a partition to close a gap left by a deleted one, merging two volumes without losing the contents of either, splitting one volume into two, and converting between partition table types without a rebuild. All of it happens with the data in place.
Migration is the other half. The disk clone and system migration tools copy an entire installation to a new drive, including the boot components, and handle the case where the target is smaller than the source by resizing on the way. That turns a drive upgrade from a full reinstall into an afternoon of copying followed by a boot order change.
A bootable environment builds onto a USB stick from inside the application, which is how any operation on the running system drive should be done. The same environment doubles as a recovery tool when a machine will not start, since the partition and boot repair options are available before the installed system ever loads.

Installation walkthrough
These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.
- Back up anything irreplaceable before touching partitions at all. This is not optional advice.
- Disable real-time protection and extract the archive to a local folder.
- Run the installer as administrator.
- Build the bootable USB environment immediately after install, before any operation is needed.
- Run operations on the system drive from the bootable environment rather than from inside the running system.
