vMix Pro
A software vision mixer handling live inputs, replay, titles, audio and streaming from one machine, with the Pro input count and instant replay unlocked.
About vMix Pro
vMix turns one reasonably specified machine into a full production gallery. Camera inputs over capture cards or the network, remote guests, media files, still images, browser sources, audio inputs and title pages all become inputs on a bus, cut or dissolved to a program output that streams, records and feeds a projector simultaneously. What used to require a rack of hardware runs in one window.
The switching model is conventional in the best way: preview and program, a transition bank with cut, fade, stinger and animated wipes, and a multiview showing every input at once so an operator sees what is coming. Keyboard shortcuts and external controller support mean a show can be called without the mouse, which is what an operator under pressure actually needs.
Pro is the edition with the parts a real production uses. Input count rises to the ceiling, instant replay runs with multiple camera angles and slow motion for sports coverage, four independent recorders and multiple simultaneous streaming destinations run at once, and the video call inputs bring remote contributors in with a clean feed back to them.
The audio side is a proper mixer rather than a fader pair, with per-input channel control, buses, delay compensation, compression, gating and equalisation. Titles are editable templates driven by a data source, so a lower third or a scoreboard updates from a spreadsheet during the show without anyone retyping anything.

Installation walkthrough
These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.
- Install capture card drivers and the current graphics driver before setup.
- Extract the archive to a short path on a fast drive.
- Run the installer as administrator and allow the network components through the firewall.
- Set the recording folder to a fast dedicated drive, not the system volume.
- Run a full rehearsal with every input connected before a live show.
