Movavi Screen Recorder
Screen and webcam capture with a trimming stage attached, aimed at turning a demonstration or a call into a finished clip in one sitting.
About Movavi Screen Recorder
Most screen capture ends up in one of two places: a training clip that somebody else has to follow, or a recording of a call that needs a section pulled out of it. This covers both without dragging a full editor into the job. A region, a window or a whole display is selected, the recording runs, and the result lands in a trimming view rather than straight into a folder.
Capture options are the ones that actually matter in practice. System audio and microphone record onto separate tracks so a voice can be levelled independently of what the machine is playing, the webcam overlays as a resizable picture-in-picture, and cursor highlighting plus click and keystroke display can be switched on so a demonstration reads without narration.
Recording is scheduled or triggered by hotkey, with a countdown before the first frame and a configurable frame rate up to sixty. Long sessions write straight to disk rather than buffering in memory, so a two hour capture does not fall over on a machine with modest specifications.
The editing stage is deliberately shallow. Trim the ends, cut sections out of the middle, drop in a title, adjust the audio level, then export to a file or a preset sized for a specific destination. Anything more involved is a job for a real timeline, and the export hands off cleanly to one.

Installation walkthrough
These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.
- Close any other capture or streaming software before starting setup.
- Pause real-time protection until the installation completes.
- Extract the archive to a short folder path and run setup as administrator.
- Allow the audio capture driver to install when prompted, since system audio depends on it.
- Reboot once so the audio driver registers, then set the output folder and frame rate.
