The editing model is built for precision on recorded material. Clip gain sits under the fader, so levels are ridden before the mix even starts.

Mixing is where the layout earns its reputation. Buses, sends, inserts, VCA groups and full automation on every parameter, with a mixer window that scales from a handful of tracks to a session with hundreds. Automation modes cover write, touch, latch and preview, and the automation itself is editable as a curve rather than only recordable in a pass.

For post work the picture side is present: a video track that scrubs with the audio, timecode display and session start offsets, and delivery with the loudness metering that broadcast specifications ask for. The bundled plugin set covers dynamics, equalisation, reverb, delay, modulation, restoration and metering, and third party plugins in the standard format load beside them.

Installation walkthrough

These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.

1. Install the audio interface driver first and confirm it works before starting setup.
2. Disable real-time protection until installation completes.
3. Extract the archive to a short path and run setup as administrator.
4. Allow the bundled plugin set and audio engine components to install when prompted.
5. Reboot once, then set the playback engine, buffer size and session folder on first launch.
