Pitch correction has two completely different uses and this bundle serves both. Used gently it is invisible repair work, pulling a note that landed slightly flat onto the correct pitch while leaving the performance sounding exactly like a performance. Used hard, with retune speed at zero, it produces the stepped vocal effect that has been a deliberate production choice for a long time now.

The main plugin runs in two modes. Automatic mode corrects in real time against a chosen key and scale, with retune speed, humanise and natural vibrato controls governing how much of the original phrasing survives. Graph mode shows the detected pitch curve against a note grid and lets individual notes be dragged, retimed, straightened or reshaped by hand, which is what serious correction on an exposed lead vocal actually requires.

The bundle around it covers the rest of the vocal chain. Harmony generation produces additional voices that follow the lead and stay in key, throat modelling alters the perceived physical characteristics of the singer, formant shifting changes character without changing pitch, and there are doubling, vocal effect, articulation and de-essing plugins for the parts a corrector does not touch.

Everything installs in the standard plugin formats, so the workstation already on the machine picks them up on its next scan. Latency is low enough for tracking through the automatic mode while recording, and settings save as presets that carry between sessions and machines.

Installation walkthrough

These steps assume a clean machine. If a previous release of the same application is present, deal with that first, since an overlapping install is the most common cause of a setup that stops halfway.

1. Close the audio workstation completely before starting setup.
2. Pause real-time protection until installation has finished.
3. Extract the archive to a short folder path and run setup as administrator.
4. Select the plugin formats and confirm the plugin folder paths the workstation scans.
5. Reopen the workstation, rescan plugins, and check the bundle appears before starting a session.
